Applying on an expiring passport

Hide You need a valid passport for at least 6 months for this visa. If your passport is expiring soon, renew it before applying for an e-visa.

Make sure you have the following documents for the e-visa applications.

• A passport with a validity of at least six (06) months.
• A clear, scanned copy in .jpg format of your passport’s full data (bio) page.
• A passport-sized photo in .jpg format (4x6cm with a white background, no glasses).
• A valid international credit or debit card for e-visa fee payment.
• A temporary address in Vietnam (Hotel, homestay or address of your family/relatives).
• Details of your intended entry and exit dates, as well as your point of entry and exit.

Detailed guide for the e-visa application process:

1. Visit the our website for the application
2. Submit .jpg images of your passport data page and passport photo.
3. Complete all necessary information from your passport data page. (Name, date of birth, nationality, passport number..ect)
4. Provide details regarding your trip. (Travel date, Inviting/ guaranteeing agency/ organization, place of stay, length of stay)
5. Pay the e-Visa fee (48 USD) through one of the available payment options. (Visa, master and other credit/debit cards)
6. Wait for 5-7 working days (Urgent processing is available upon request)
7. Download your e-visa document at the “Evisa status”
